OnePlus 11 5G, Camera Review. The latest and greatest from OnePlus is here. Is OnePlus back? Here we review the camera and dig a little deeper.
Looking at the main specs of the phone we can find flagship grade specs. But the cameras seem to disappoint even if it has icing on cake color science by Hasselblad. What OnePlus 11 5G disappoints the most is its video capabilities. Let’s dig a little deeper.

Front Camera
16 MP, f/2.45, 25mm (wide), 1.0µm, EIS(Electronic Image Stabilization), Fixed Focus
Video: 1080p video at 30 fps, 720p video at 30 fps, Time-Lapse
Review: Here is where the it seems bad. A flagship phone at 2023 only 1080p video recording for front camera is really disappointing.
Main Camera
50 MP, f/1.8, 24mm (wide), 1/1.56″, 1.0µm, multi-directional PDAF, OIS(Optical Image Stabilization),EIS(Electronic Image Stabilization), FOV(Field of View) 84°, Sony IMX890
Video: 8K video at 24 fps, 4K video at 30/60 fps, 1080p video at 30/60 fps, 720p video at 30/60 fps, Super Slow Motion: 1080p video at 240 fps, 720p video at 240/480 fps, Time-Lapse: 4K/1080p at 30 fps
Review: The main camera is generally good with a great load of features i.e. Hasselblad color science and filters.
2x Telephoto Camera
32 MP, f/2.0, 48mm (telephoto), 1/2.74″, PDAF, 2x optical zoom, FOV(Field of View) 49°, EIS(Electronic Image Stabilization), Sony IMX709
Video: 1080p video at 30 fps
Review: A great camera but can only used for photos and portrait photos. Video is limited to 1080p which is a major disappointment.
Ultrawide Camera
48 MP, f/2.2, 115˚, (ultrawide), 1/2.0″, FOV(Field of View) 115°, Autofocus, EIS(Electronic Image Stabilization), Sony IMX581
Video: 4K video at 30/60 fps, 1080p video at 30/60 fps
Review: The ultrawide camera is good with great features especially 4k video recording and can take good pictures and videos.
Other Features: Auto HDR, Auto Macro, Smart Stereo Audio Zoom, Raw and DNG capture, Pro video(Manual video controls), Portrait video(1080p, Main Camera and front camera), Nigh mode filters, High res 50MP(Main camera), 48MP(Ultrawide), Ultra Steady mode(Main and Ultrawide camera), Nigh mode, Tripod mode, Portrait mode(Main and Telephoto Camera), 10Bit color mode, Palm capture, Dual-View Video, AI Highlight video, 13 channel Accu Spectrum light color identifier.
One of the great features of film mode is, low profile log color mode which looks washed out when recording. But later the video can be color graded to your taste.
Looking overall at the phone bringing back the alert slider is great as well as decent cameras with good features. Telephoto lens could have been with more than 2x zoom and only 1080p video recording. But considering the price of around 55k INR. This seems like a overall good deal.
Competition: Samsung S22 at times have offer near 52k which is a great replacement, not regarding the processor but mainly if you are focusing on the camera.
